Assignment Office

The Assignment Office schedules most cases pending before the Court and distributes relevant information to other Court personnel, attorneys and the general public.  Further duties of the office include providing case management information and completing mandated statistical reporting to the Supreme Court of Ohio, including annual case inventory. 

The Assignment Office also provides and reviews the domestic and dating violence case petitions for protection orders. The Assignment Office then provides information from these cases to local law enforcement agencies.

The Assignment Office is a 4 person team, whose duties vary accordingly.

  • Assignment Commissioner (937) 225-4107 - manages and schedules the Judges’ calendars
  • Case Management Specialist (937) 225-4087 - manages and schedules hearings on the Magistrates’ calendars.
  • Child Support Compliance Specialist (937) 225-6055 - manages and schedules all new divorce, legal separation and annulment cases with the Judge’s calendars. The Child Support Compliance Specialist also tracks the Attachments for Contempt (warrants) issued by the Judges and Magistrates.
  • Domestic Violence Public Coordinator (937) 496-6859 - manages and schedules all the hearings for domestic violence and dating violence petitions for protection orders.
